What will be covered in this discussion?
Western Performance Horse: Most common lamenesses seen over last 5 years
Eventing Horses: Most common lamenesses seen in last 5 years
Race Horses: most Common lamenesses seen in last five years
Will look at the four of five most common lameness in each of these disciplines and talk about how to treat and diagnose them.

What will be covered in this discussion?
Description: The goal of this panel is to have panelists present clinical cases that most equine practitioners will see on a regular basis that resulted in an extensive or interesting imaging work up. This will include, but not be limited to; radiography, ultrasound, nuclear scintigraphy, MRI and CT.


  • Clinical description of no fewer than 6 cases to include:
    • o   clinical history
    • o   lameness examination findings
    • o   blocking sequence and outcome
    • o   Imaging modality selection thought process
  • Imaging results
  • Treatment(s)
  • Clinical outcome
No fewer than 2 interesting pre-purchase imaging findings along with clinical outcomes will be discussed
